The kicker and krunner work fine. Kate, Konsole, Discover, System Monitor, and System Settings all launch and pass the five-second test. Kinfocenter reports Plasma 5.12.2, KDE FW 5.43. and Qt 5.9.3.

Had to use nomodeset to proceed past the live boot/install menu. This was not necessary 2 days ago when testing the multiprompt network connection fix. I tried connecting to the network from the panel, the install menu and skipping straight to install. I was not prompted twice for the same any of those times. I did observe the issue Nate reported where not all secure networks are correctly flagged. Firefox ran just fine, but since no modeset was used, screen resolution was 800x600 (on a 4k display) and which makes installs challenging (next boxes are offscreen).
