Booted the live DVD in iBook G4, using the "video=ofonly radeon.agpmode=-1" terms that are needed in 14.04 . . . tried to run through some of these tests. Double click on the "install Lubuntu" icon results in "Failed to execute child process "sh" (input/output error)" . . . clicked "OK" on the error window, but that seemed to "jam" the optical drive??? I was able to drag the FF window around, but trying to scroll down in the testcase window failed to scroll, trying to change tabs in FF failed. Got the Lubuntu launcher window to open , but none of the apps showed up . . . essentially the GUI was frozen, and the test was terminated. Appears to be a retro upgrade, this problem was occurring in the testing of alpha 14.04 PPC awhile back . . . .

Needs "video=ofonly" and "radeon.agpmode=-1" boot parameters to run. guvcview obviously does not work since there are no cameras or mics.

used mkusb to make bootable USB. Everything booted just fine, no parameters needed. powerbook4_3 (iBook 2 rev. 2)
This release had no garbled graphics. Wifi worked out of the box.
opening archive.org in firefox seemed to freeze the entire machine :( I think this is related to Lars bug.
