lsc still crashing on initial boot (938399). failed to file a bug post-install due to the fact that you cannot report if certain packages aren't updated. in this case, it was gir1.2-gtk-3.0, libgtk-3-0, and libgtk-3-common. this seems to be, as aforementioned, ppc-specific.

finally bothered to report on the incorrect configuration of Application Launch Bar for the ppc-specific Firefox browser (938470).

lastly, seems there are problems with the current theme which, if the mailing list is to be believed, is not a problem just with ppc (938472).

lxpanel did a strange crash when trying to remove a plugin (938466).

i continue to have problems with the display. it's difficult to describe, but there are pieces of text missing, that can be forced to reappear when scrolling. i cannot resolve this with nosplash/video=ofonly settings in yaboot. interesting i find this when running ubuntu-bug:
nvfx_screen_get_param:95 - Warning: unknown PIPE_CAP
followed by some two digit number. not sure if this is related.
