Ubiquity crashed while presenting manual disk partitioning screen. The partitioning screen stayed up and allowed me to repartition the disk and continue the installation

The installer failed to detect an active wireless network (and added insult to injury by replicating bug 626003). Why are we no longer able to select a name for the computer?
