Bug 568233: It all started so promising. A search on Launchpad showed me though that similar bugs exist since 9.10 at least. So I declare my test as failed although xubuntu-meta is not directly affected.

Bug 539878: Unusable screen. Workaround with nomodeset (worked in Beta2) is broken again => Laptop crashes with flickering diagnostic leds.
Unable to reach a desktop, whatever workaround I try.
