Dell inspiron 1720.mic sound volume very low. Nvidia propietary drivers fails.

I was booted live 3 times and had no message to close an hit enter twice. Some sort of IO fault so I assumed it had to do with my USB external CDrom.

Some kind of clue as to how you get to the "normal" menu seems to me to be a must. The lack of that is going to cause a lot of grief and angry posts on the forums.
