| Hopefully the plymouth issue will be fixed soon. This affected the OEM end user setup, thus the failure. After installation of packages at the end of the end user set-up, I was left with nothing but a background and no pointer, menus or anything. I hit enter which triggered the X restart due to the plymouth bug, and after X started again, I was able to log in and use the system as the end user.
18 March: upgrading Plymouth pacakges to -17 fixes the issue.
